A hairy character inspired from my recent trip in Greece (only the duck is British).

I didn’t eat any octopus there but squids, the fried ones. Octopus and squids are pretty close in my mind so I really need to share the best lunch I had in Corfu, fried squids (this is the picture before it disappeared)…

…has been also the worst when I gave it another try in an unfortunate restaurant thinking that, extremely large amount of greasy fried squids and fries don’t need any greens to be appreciated. Rant over, the first one was delicious and it happened near Liapades beach.

Still, I understand why some people fight to save octopuses (AND squids) to be eaten by British ducks. Here is another proof of what seems to happen everyday on Greek beaches:

Obviously inspired by the previous duck based post, here is a little sketch with a duck, an octopus, and a fish.

I’m pretty sure this is a ridiculously bold statement but, – really -,  time is flying like ducks are swimming and those three little guys I met the other day are certainly right. Wait or you’ll get wet. Do you see what I mean? Never mind, they do.

My dear blog hasn’t been fed for over a month, shame on me, so I had to find a quick way to fix this before I disconnect from the little world I know (=holidays!).

This is it for now and as a famous duck said, “better to wait, than being wet”. Sorry, I can’t remember his name (it’s in duck anyway).

This illustration is the first of a serie of three I’ve done during my recent family break in France. I’ve been lucky enough to enjoy the last bit of summer and south of France isn’t exactly the worst place for that. The sun out there is definitively not the same as the London’s one!

I remembered I use to draw a lot of body-builded characters when I was a child and as a selfish tribute to myself I decided to do it again, but with a touch of sensibility as I’m such a sensible person… and I love ducks.
